With support from Deutsche Post World Net, IZA has established a new event series in January 2003. The "IZA Tower Talks" tackle current issues and challenges in labor market policy. These events take place in the new corporate headquarters of Deutsche Post World Net, the "Post Tower" in Bonn.
The topics of the events are as attractive as the venue: High-ranking experts from politics, business and academia present their views on labor market policy issues and engage in controversial debates.
As an independent research institute, IZA not only offers scientifically founded policy advice but also takes this opportunity to provide a forum for constructive debates on labor market policy. The objective of this new event series is to stimulate the process of designing and implementing the necessary labor market reforms.
The IZA Tower Talks are aimed at a select audience consisting of local and regional decision-makers from all areas of society. Participation is by invitation only (for more information please contact tt@iza.org).
