Mark Borgschulte

Mark Borgschulte currently works as an Assistant Professor of Economics and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Mark is a labor economist who studies labor market transitions, health and retirement, and programs for workers, families and the elderly. Mark's dissertation work at UC Berkeley focused on the willingness-to-pay for economic conditions at the time of job search.

He joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in January 2014 and became a Research Fellow in December 2023.
