Sankar Mukhopadhyay is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Nevada, Reno.
He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005. He is interested in labor economics and health economics.
His past research has focused on evaluation of public policies using structural estimation of dynamic systems. His current research interests include international migration, and interaction between health and healthcare policies and labor market.
He has published in journals such as Demography, Quantitative Economics, and the International Economic Review.
Sankar joined IZA as a Research Fellow in March 2017.
