Barbara Biasi is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Yale School of Management. Her research focuses on labor economics and applied microeconomics, with particular emphasis on education. Across her recent work, she has studied teachers’ compensation and labor markets, differences in school spending and finance, the diffusion of frontier knowledge through higher education, and links between mental health and labor-market outcomes. Beyond Yale, she is a Faculty Research Fellow at NBER, a Research Fellow at CEPR, an Affiliate at CESifo, and a Research Fellow at IZA.
