Harald Dale-Olsen is Research Professor at the Institute for Social Research (ISF) in Oslo. His PhD (dr. polit.) in economy is from the Department of Economics at the University of Oslo. He was a Visiting Fellow at the Department of Economics, University College London in 2004. He has previously been editor of the Norwegian Journal of Working Life Studies and is still a member of the journal’s editorial board.
His research interest is employees’ response to wages and non-wage amenities, sick leave behavior, gender and union issues, and social interaction, and how these issues affect employers. Dale-Olsen’s research is published in Industrial and Labor Relations Review, Economica, Scandinavian Journal of Economics, Labour Economics, Labour among others.
