Since 2020, Annette Bergemann is working as associate professor at the University of Groningen. She was awarded a Rosalind Franklin Fellowship. She is also affiliated to the Institute for Labor Market Policy Evaluation (IFAU Uppsala) and the University of Bristol. She previously worked at the University of Bristol, University of Mannheim, VU University Amsterdam, Tinbergen Institute Amsterdam, University College London and the Halle Institute for Economic Research.
Her research interest includes evaluation of active labor market programs, health economics, gender economics, employment and unemployment dynamics.
She has published in journals such as Journal of the European Economic Association and Journal of Applied Econonometrics.
Annette Bergemann joined IZA as Research Fellow in August 2004.
