Michele Pellizzari is Professor of Economics in the Economics Department at the University of Geneva. He has previously worked as a Labour Market Economist at the OECD in Paris (France) and as Assistant Professor of Economics at Bocconi University in Milan (Italy). He is also a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) in London, a Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) in Bonn and an External Research Fellow at CREAM (UCL, London). He holds a PhD from the London School of Economics. His main research interests lie in the area of labour, education economics and applied econometrics.

He joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in February 2005 and became a Research Fellow in May 2008.
