David Card

David Card is a Professor of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley and Faculty Research Associate in the National Bureau of Economic Research. He recieved his B.A. in 1978 at Queen's University (Kingston) and his Ph.D. at Princeton University in 1983. From 1988-92 he was Associate Editor of the Journal of Labor Economics and from 1993-97 he was Co-editor of Econometrica.

David Card joined IZA as a Research Fellow in October 1999. In November 2006 he was awarded the IZA Prize in Labor Economics jointly with Alan Krueger.
