Nachum Sicherman is a professor at the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University. He was previously on the faculty of Rutgers University. He is also an associate editor of the Eastern Economics Journal.
Professor Sicherman's current research focuses on the various effects of technological change on the labor market, investors attention to their portfolios (The Ostrich Effect), and cost-benefit-analysis of various medical procedures. He is currently studies the determinants of delay in diagnosis of children on the Autism Spectrum Disorder.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in March 2004.
