Jonathan Wadsworth is professor of Economics at Royal Holloway College, University of London and a senior research fellow at the London School of Economic's Centre for Economic Performance. He studied at the university of Hull and the London School of Economics. His main area of interest is applied labor economics, focussing on issues of unemployment compensation schemes, inequality, workless households, job search, labour mobility, job tenure, wages, unions, economic inactivity and labour markets in Eastern and Central Europe. He is the co-editor of The State of Working Britain series.

Jonathan Wadsworth joined IZA as a Research Fellow in November 1999.
