Eran Yashiv is a Professor at the Eitan Berglas School of Economics at Tel Aviv University. In 2019/20 he is on leave at UCL. In the past he has visited the Departments of Economics at MIT, NYU/Stern, LSE, and HEC (near Paris). As a macroeconomist, he is interested particularly in topics pertaining to the labor market. His current research is mostly concerned with empirical studies of search and matching models of the aggregate labor market. He teaches both undergraduate and graduate levels courses in macroeconomics, labor and macro, and international monetary economics.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in December 2000.
