Luke Chicoine joined Bates College as an Assistant Professor of Economics in 2017. His fields of interest are development, education, health, and labor economics. His research focuses on issues in sub-Saharan Africa, particularly the relationship between human capital and labor market outcomes.

He joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in 2012.
