Todd Morris

Todd Morris is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the School of Economics at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.

He obtained his PhD from the University of Melbourne in 2020. After that, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy from 2019 to 2021 and at HEC Montreal from 2022 to 2023. His main research interests are in empirical public and labor economics. A unifying theme to his research is the causal evaluation of government policies (often related to retirement). His research has been published by the Journal of Public Economics and the American Economic Journal: Economic Policy.

Todd Morris joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in April 2023.
