        AB  - A fundamental premise of Federal and State legislation that restricts the hours that minors can be employed while school is in session is that working may adversely affect school performence. In this paper, we develop and structurally estimate a sequential of high school attendance and work decicions. Policy experiments based on the models estimates indicate that even the most restrictive prohibition would have only a limited impact on the high school graduation rates of with males.
