Adam Altmejd is a researcher at the Institute for Evaluation of Labor Market and Education Policy (IFAU) in Uppsala. He uses large, and sometimes unconventional, register data sets to study the causal mechanisms that drive socio-economic inequality. He has investigated how education is transferred between siblings and across generations, and done work on the unequal outcomes of the COVID-19 pandemic. Adam received his PhD in Economics from Stockholm School of Economics in 2018.
