Mariët Bogaard is a senior researcher at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA), Maastricht University. She obtained her PhD in Economics from Maastricht University in 2025.

Her research lies in applied labour economics, with a particular focus on how environmental conditions, such as air pollution and temperature, affect labour market outcomes and educational settings. She also conducts research on (regional) labour market forecasting.
