Viola Asri is a Senior Researcher at the Chr. Michelsen Institute in Bergen (Norway) and has been a PI at the Excellence Cluster "The Politics of Inequality" at the University of Konstanz (Germany). She is a development economist with most of her research centering around questions in public economics and labor economics, and health economics. Viola uses both experimental and quasi-experimental methods and most of her ongoing work is in collaboration with NGOs and government partners.
Viola’s research has been funded by the German Science Foundation through the Excellence Strategy, International Growth Centre, Swiss National Science Foundation, and the Thurgau Institute of Economics.
