IZA and its project partners provide the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (BMAS) with expertise on a broad range of issues related to labor and social sciences. The purpose is to build conceptual and empirical foundations for current societal debates and political decision-making processes by drawing on the expertise of different disciplines. The focus is on questions concerning the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the sustainable development of an integrative welfare state, and the future of work. We provide decision-makers with fast, practice-oriented and scientifically founded policy advice. Below we offer a selection of completed research reports within this framework.
