The project, coordinated by IZA, provides the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (BMAS) with expertise on a broad range of issues related to labor and social sciences. The purpose is to build conceptual and empirical foundations for current societal debates and political decision-making processes by drawing on the expertise of different disciplines. The focus is on questions concerning the sustainable development of an integrative welfare state and the future of work. Within this framework, IZA and its project partners provide decision-makers with fast, practice-oriented and scientifically founded policy advice.
