Research Fellow

Lex Borghans (Ph.D. Maastricht University) is professor of labor economics and social policy at the department of economics, Maastricht University. In his research he focused on adjustment processes in the labor market, and the impact of computers on the structure of earnings and the division of labor. Currently his main research activities concern non-cognitive skills, educational production, and educational choice.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in December 2002.
