Julia von Dewitz studied Political Science, Sociology, and Public Law at the University of Bonn and at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and received her M.A. degree in 2005.
She joined IZA in May 2006. As Fellow Administration Manager she coordinates IZA's Fellow and Affiliate network.
She also works in the Human Resources field, conducts IZA's hiring process and is IZA's contact for long-term guest researchers. As of January 2022 she has also taken over the tasks of the assistant to IZA's CEO.
