Lucas Ronconi is Professor of Economics at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) in Argentina.

He studied economics at Universidad de San Andres and received a Ph.D. from the University of California Berkeley. Before joining UBA, he worked at CIAS, and at the Institute for Research on Labor and Employment at UC Berkeley. He is also affiliated researcher at the Argentine National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET).

His research focuses on labor market institutions in less developed countries.

Lucas joined IZA as a Research Fellow in May 2017.
