Gokce Uysal is an assistant professor at the Department of Economics at Bahcesehir University. She is also a researcher at Betam, Bahcesehir University Center for Economic and Social Research. She received her B.A. from Université Galatasaray in Istanbul in 2000 and her Ph.D. from University of Rochester in 2006. Her research interests include labor economics, economics of education, economics of gender and public policy evaluation.

She joined IZA as a Research Fellow in November 2012.
