Philipp Doerrenberg

Philipp Doerrenberg is researcher at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in Mannheim, Germany and Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) in Bonn, Germany. Previously he was a scholarship holder at the Cologne Graduate School (CGS, University of Cologne) and Resident Research Affiliate at IZA. In the spring of 2012, he was visiting scholar at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at Indiana University. Philipp received his PhD in Economics from the University of Cologne in November 2014 (advided by Clemens Fuest). His research uses econometric and experimental methods to examine questions in the field of Public Economics. Prior to his doctoral studies, Philipp studied at the University of Cologne and Trinity College Dublin to obtain a German "Diplom" (equivalent to MA) in Economics. He was an IZA Research Affiliate since 2012 and became a Research Fellow in July 2014.
