Peter Dolton is Professor of Economics at the University of Sussex. He was previously at Royal Holloway, University of London, and the University of Newcastle. He is also a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Performance at the LSE and a strand leader on the Centre for the Economics of Education based at the LSE. Most of his research has been econometric in nature and has focussed on the graduate labour market and other issues in labour and educational economics. He is currently an associate editor of the Economics of Education Review and the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in April 2003.
