Shintaro Yamaguchi is a Professor of Economics at the University of Tokyo and affiliated with the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration at University College London.
He earned a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was previously appointed as an Associate Professor at McMaster University.
His research interests include labor economics, the economics of education, and the economics of the family. He has published papers in the American Economic Review, Journal of Labor Economics, Quantitative Economics, and many other peer-reviewed academic journals.
Shintaro Yamaguchi joined IZA as a Research Fellow in December 2021.
