Anthony Wray is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). He received his PhD in Economics from Northwestern University in December 2015. Prior to joining SDU, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Hitotsubashi Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS) at Hitotsubashi University (Tokyo, Japan).
Wray’s research fields are applied microeconomics and economic history. His research has analyzed the long-run influences of the in-utero and early-childhood health environments, the impact of funding for the modernization of hospitals, and the sources of racial inequality in health and lifetime earnings. His work has been published (or is forthcoming) in the American Economic Review, Journal of Labor Economics, and the Journal of Human Resources.
