Arthur Sweetman is a Professor, and the Ontario Research Chair in Health Human Resources, in the Economics Department at McMaster University, Canada.

He also studies economic issues regarding immigration, education, unemployment insurance, unions, and other similar topics.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in October 2005.
