Patrick Nüß is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH). He earned his PhD in Quantitative Economics from Kiel University, with research visits at Princeton University (2019), MIT Sloan School of Management (2023). His research lies in labor and public economics, with a particular focus on combining experimental and quasi-experimental methods. His work examines unionization intentions, employer opposition to unions, valuation of non-wage job amenities, the cognitive consequences of war, remote work across time zones, and perceptions of inequality in life expectancy.
