Dr. Gözde Corekcioglu is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Ozyegin University.

She has received her Ph.D. in Economics from the European University Institute in January 2019. Her research interests lie in the fields of Labor Economics, Economics of Culture, and Political Economy. She is intrigued by questions related to transforming culture and norms, breaking the glass ceiling, and the importance of gender diversity in the workplace. Her work has been accepted for publication in the Quarterly Journal of Economics and Journal of Politics, and published in Oxford Review of Economic Policy, Journal of Comparative Economics, among others.

Gozde Corekcioglu joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in September 2022.
