Esmée Zwiers is a PhD candidate at Erasmus University Rotterdam under the supervision of Anne Gielen and Dinand Webbink.
During her PhD, she was a Visiting Student Research Collaborator at Princeton University’s Center for Health and Wellbeing in spring 2018.
Esmée is an applied microeconomist working primarily in the fields of labor economics and family economics, although she has broader research interests in health economics, economics of education, and economic history. Her current work studies the role of family environment in the child’s skill formation
Esmée joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in December 2018.
