Nils Saniter is an economist at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.

Before that he was researcher at DIW Berlin, earning his PhD from Free University Berlin in 2014.

His research interests lie in the field of empirical labor economics, particularly the economics of education, school to work transitions and occupational choice.

Nils was an IZA Research Affiliate from August 2012 until July 2017.
