Chiara Strozzi is Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. She received her Ph.D. in Economics at the European University Institute, her M.Sc. in Economics at Bocconi University and her first degree in Economics at the University of Modena. She has held visiting research positions at the University College of London, Cornell University and the European Central Bank.

Her research interests include the relationship between citizenship policy and immigration, the impact of institutions on international migration, the role of labour market institutions on economic performance and the impact of digitalization on labor markets.

She joined IZA as a Research Fellow in January 2007.
