Job Opening: Research Associates

The Institute of Labor Economics (IZA) builds bridges for research in labor economics. We engage in impartial fundamental research, scientific policy advice, and active transfer of knowledge. The institute is the hub of a global network of scholars who work with us to create a sound economic understanding of how labor markets work and how labor market policies perform. We contribute to the future of labor research by supporting young scholars on their paths to becoming tomorrow’s leading academics. IZA was initiated by the Deutsche Post Foundation in 1998. The institute is based in Bonn, Germany, where a team of expert researchers studies issues related to the future of work.

IZA provides a highly stimulating research environment, with excellent facilities and great opportunities through its excellent network. The institute closely cooperates with the universities of Bonn and Cologne. Our research staff is a productive blend of established labor economists and promising young academics. We have an active weekly seminar series attracting renowned international labor economists, and we host many well-regarded labor economics workshops and conferences.
