Carlos Gradín

Carlos Gradín is a professor of economics at the University of Vigo (Galicia, Spain). He received his B.A. from the University of Vigo (1991), and his M.A. (economics, 1994) and Ph.D. (economics, 1999) from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. His research focuses on income distribution issues like inequality, poverty, mobility or polarization, as well as on labour market and living conditions, including issues like wage differentials, discrimination or segregation. His work has been published in the Review of Income and Wealth, Journal of Economic Inequality, Research on Economic Inequality, Journal of Income Distribution, International Journal of Social Welfare, Journal of Comparative Family Studies and Journal of Applied Economics, among others. He is visiting IZA between March and May, 2007, granted by DAAD.
