Karanassou Marika Karanassou is a lecturer in Economics at Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London since 1997. She has published in Economic Journal, Oxford Economic Papers and European Economic Review. Her research topics include modelling unemployment and inflation dynamics, persistence of shocks in macroeconomic and labour market models, volatility of term structure instruments and equity prices.

Marika Karanassou joined IZA as a Research Fellow in September 2000.
