too h Akay Alpaslan Akay completed his Ph.D. at University of Gothenburg (Sweden) in March 2008. His main research interests are Labor Economics and Migration, Experimental and Behavioral Economics, Economics of Happiness, Microeconometrics and Monte Carlo Simulations.

He joined IZA as a Research Associate in September 2008 and became a Senior Research Associate in September 2011.
