Farzana Afridi
Research Fellow

Afridi Farzana Afridi is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Indian Statistical Institute in Delhi. Her main area of research is development economics, with a focus on program evaluation, field experiments, education and gender. Her current research interests include female labour force participation, the design of public programmes in developing countries and the effects of gender on governance. She received her Ph.D. in economics in 2006 from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

She joined IZA as a Research Fellow in February 2012.
