Simone Schüller studied economics at the Johannes-Gutenberg University Mainz, the University of Pisa and at the University of Leipzig and graduated from the latter as a Diplom-Volkswirtin in August 2007. From 2007 to 2009 she took part in the European Space Agency's Young Graduate Trainee program and subsequently joined the DIW Berlin as a research associate. She joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in March 2011 and became Resident Research Affiliate in September 2011.
Her research interests include labor economics, applied microeconometrics, migration, education, and happiness economics.
