Guangjie Ning received his Ph. D. in Economics in 1999 from Nankai University, China. He also studied at University of Regina, Canada (2006) and Ritsumeikan University, Japan (2002). He is now an associate professor of Economics at Nankai University. His main research interests lie in labor economics and political economy, with a focus on the impact of technological change on employment fluctuation, wage mechanism, education expansion and income inequality in transitional China.
He stayed at IZA as a Research Visitor from March 2010 until December 2010. |
