Sir Peter Torry was British Ambassador to Berlin from 2003 to 2007 and to Madrid from 1998 to 2003. He now is a Senior Adviser to a number of British, US and German companies, including Centrica plc, Celesio AG, and STAR Capital. He is a member of the Advisory Boards of Lloyds Pharmacy plc and of the Global Economic Symposium in Kiel. He studied politics, philosophy and economics at New College, Oxford.
He became an IZA Policy Fellow in 2009. |
