Jan is post-doctoral research fellow at the Swedish Institute for Social Research (SOFI) at Stockholm University. He obtained his PhD in economics from the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA) at Maastricht University in 2013. He joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in November 2011.
Jan's research focuses on labour economics and applied micro-econometrics. He is interested in topics such as learning and peer effects in the workplace, and the effects of incentives on performance outcomes.
