Sabien Dobbelaere is Assistant Professor at VU University Amsterdam and Research Fellow of Tinbergen Institute. She received her M.Sc. in Economics from the Catholic University of Leuven (K.U.Leuven, Belgium) in 2001. In 2004, she obtained her Ph.D. from Ghent University (Belgium).
Her fields of interest are microeconomics (labor economics, industrial organization) and applied microeconometrics, with a focus on collective bargaining, imperfections in product and labor markets, the effect of globalization on labor market performance and innovation behavior in imperfect markets.
She joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in January 2005 and became a Research Fellow in February 2007. |
