About the Workshop |
This workshop will focus on child labor broadly defined, but will emphasize applied work in developing countries. Following the Child Labor Workshop, IZA and the World Bank will convene the Second Annual “Employment and Development” Conference in Bonn, and all workshop participants are invited to attend the two-day conference event. A separate call for papers for the “Employment and Development” conference will be issued shortly.
Those who wish to participate in the Child Labor Workshop are invited to submit abstracts of papers by using our online application form. The deadline for submission is February 5, 2007.
Decisions of acceptance or rejection by the program committee will be announced no later than February 26, 2007. Complete papers will be due by May 7, 2007.
Economy class air travel costs for presenters of papers that have been accepted will be reimbursed. IZA will also provide accommodation, breakfasts, lunches and dinners at the workshop venue.
