About the Workshop |
We are delighted to announce the 9th IZA Annual Migration Meeting (AMē). We seek high quality academic work that extends, enriches, refines, and challenges our understanding of the broad array of issues related to migration. Researchers are expected to present their best ongoing cutting-edge work. The 9th AMē will be organized in a manner designed to foster interaction and exchange of ideas among participants in a relaxed atmosphere. |
The Annual Migration Meeting this year will have two distinguished keynotes:
The traditional highlight of the 9th Julian Simon Lecture: Professor Guillermina Jasso (New York University and IZA) will deliver the 2012 lecture.
Special invited lecture: Professor Oded Galor (Brown University) will deliver "The Out of Africa Hypothesis, Human Genetic Diversity and Comparative Economic development." |
Those authors who are invited are required to participate in the entire 2-day migration meeting. For the full conference announcement and further information, see the AMē website
(http://www.iza.org/conference_files/amm2012). |
