About the Workshop |
We are happy to announce a Workshop on the Economics of Leadership to be held at Sloan School of Management, August 2 & 3, 2012. Potential research themes include: the impact of leaders on organizational outcomes such as performance, management and organizational productivity; the characteristics and development of leaders; boards and governance; CEO origin and succession; diversity; top management team heterogeneity; and what leaders do. |
The workshop aims to bring together leading researchers from different parts of economics and management science to discuss issues of leadership. We define leaders broadly as coming from many settings, e.g. public/private/not-for-profit organizations, politics, science and R&D, etc. |
