About the Conference

We are very pleased to announce the 11th IZA Conference on Labor Market Policy Evaluation. This conference is an initiative of the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) in Bonn and will start in the morning of October 8 and end in the afternoon of October 9, 2015. The conference dinner takes place on the evening of October 8.
The keynote lecture will be delivered by Bruno Crépon (CREST and IZA).
The Program Committee (see above) invites submissions for a maximum of 20 presentations from academic researchers doing program evaluation research on policy issues related to the labor market. Papers that include innovative approaches, structural modeling or methodological contributions are of particular interest.
Potential topics include:
  • The effects of minimum wages
  • Innovative methods for policy evaluation (e.g. field experiments)
  • Labor market policies for low-skilled unemployed and disadvantaged welfare recipients
  • Labor market policies for youth unemployed
 

Submission

Please use our online application form to submit pdf versions of papers. The deadline for paper submission is May 15, 2015. All submissions will be evaluated by the Program Committee and the acceptance decisions will be communicated by June 15, 2015.
 

Funding

Travel expenses and accommodation for one author per paper will be covered according to IZA reimbursement guidelines.
